I believe that nothing in this world exists in a vacuum. That people, and the environment in which we live, are all inter-related and connected in some form or fashion. There is a spiritual and physical link between everything. And as such, I strive for my photography to reflect that core belief. For example, the Tour Eiffel exists in the heart of a grand city, where it lives among other structures and people. People who work and play within meters of this beautiful structure, so I have depicted this monument in the context of what surrounds it and the life that goes on within its shadow. Another example, is the French Quarter in New Orleans. It is not just a self contained district, but it is a part of a larger, thriving city, as well as, being a place where people live their lives, day in and day out. What a beautiful thing. And finally, people. People are what this life is all about and like the structures of life that I photograph, people, too, exist in a larger world. So, I strive to use my photographic images as a means to reflect people and all their wonderful nuances, as they exist within this wonderfully complex and inter-connected world around us.

I have chosen to specialize in black and white photography because I feel that it gives me the ability to convey energy, emotions, and love in a purer form than color photography allows. This energy, these emotions and the love that surrounds everything and everybody in this world, I believe, comes through in these black and white images.

Please, enjoy these images, they come from my soul. Thank you.
